01What is HaterPicks?
HaterPicks is a sports-betting analytics and research platform. A statistical model projects player props and game lines across the NFL, the NBA, MLB, the NHL and the WNBA, compares live odds across the major US sportsbooks and the Kalshi and Polymarket prediction markets, and grades every projection against the actual result so the model's accuracy is public. It's information and tools — not picks to follow, and not betting advice.
02Is HaterPicks free?
Yes — you can create a free account with no card. It includes the top three projections on the board every day, yesterday’s full board graded so you can check our work, the bet tracker with slip scanning, the public player-prop research pages and the Kelly, EV and arbitrage calculators.
03How much is a membership in the US?
US$12.95 a week or US$39.95 a month, billed in US dollars, with a 3-day free trial of the full terminal. Cancel anytime. The free account needs no card.
04What sports do you cover?
The board runs on the NFL, college football (NCAAF), the NBA, MLB, the NHL and the WNBA — whichever are in season. College football is game lines only: there are no college player props, because they are prohibited outright in more than a dozen states.
05Which sportsbooks do you compare?
FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers, bet365, Fanatics, Hard Rock Bet, theScore Bet, Parx and Bally Bet, plus the Kalshi and Polymarket prediction markets. Sleeper is covered for player props. Which of them you can bet with depends on your state; HaterPicks only shows a link to a book that is legal where you are.
06What's the model's accuracy?
Every projection is graded against the market line after the game, and the live hit-rate — by sport, with the sample size — is shown up this page and updated nightly. A sport's number is published once 1,000 of its projections have been graded, whichever way it is going. Fifty per cent is a coin flip; we publish the real number, wins and losses included, rather than a curated record.
07Do I need the app, or is it web too?
Both, and one account covers both. The Web Terminal runs in any desktop browser — that's the deep-analysis home for comparing prices and hunting edges. The iOS app is for tracking your bets and checking tonight's board on the go. Use whichever fits the moment.
08What's CLV?
Closing-line value — whether the price you took beat the price at kickoff. Positive CLV over time is the single best signal that you're betting into value, win or lose, which is why your own tracked bets show it beside the price, wherever the market was still priced at the close.
09Is this gambling advice?
No. HaterPicks is an analytics and research product. We surface projections, model accuracy and price comparisons — what you do with them is your call. Bet within your limits, never chase losses, and remember every book builds in a margin. 21+ only. If gambling has stopped being fun, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
