An OddsJam alternative

OddsJam is a capable odds tool. Whether you need an alternative depends on the question you are asking: an odds screen tells you which sportsbook has the best price, and a projection model tells you whether that price is worth taking. Here’s what to look for, and how HaterPicks approaches it.

An odds screen and a model answer different questions

Tools like OddsJam are excellent at what they do — screening odds and arbitrage across a large list of American sportsbooks. That answers one question well: which book has the best price right now. It does not, on its own, tell you whether the best price is a good bet. A projection model answers that second question, and a published, graded record is how you find out whether to trust the model.

How HaterPicks approaches it

HaterPicks compares live prices across 14 US sportsbooks and the Kalshi and Polymarket prediction markets, in American odds. Instead of only comparing posted prices, it runs its own projection models for player props, grades every projection against the result, and publishes each sport's hit rate once 1,000 of its projections have been graded. The board covers the NFL, college football and the NBA, with MLB, the NHL, the WNBA and college basketball rolling out, and a same-game parlay builder sits on top. It has no affiliate links and takes no commission from any sportsbook.
